Co-Chairs WANTED!
Friends of Gold Star Park co-chairs needed!
Calling all neighbors near 7th & Wharton!
Seeking Co-Chairs for the Friends of Gold Star Park, to implement the master plan and improve the park (no more than 4 hours/month). Specifically, this includes:
- Organize and maintain weekly or monthly playgroups to build relationships among parents.
- Grantwriting for playground equipment
- Assist with event planning, including music concerts and children’s events.
- Coordinating potential mural opportunities.
- Outreach with dog owners, parents and park users to get involved in park activities and clean ups.
- Help maintain webpage (www.goldstarpark.org)
