The GetArounds re-boot the beloved new wave hits of the 1980’s for the modern listener by performing hits by the likes of The GoGos, The Pretenders, and ‘Til Tuesday, as acoustic lounge music, featuring cello, guitar, hand percussion, and chanteuse vocals …”Then Music for Now People”

All events are FREE.  Bring your own chair/blanket.  Each event is subject to change and/or cancellation due to severe weather, which will be posted in the park.  Friends of Gold Star Park are an all-volunteer, neighbor-run organization with funding from the Philadelphia Activities Grant.

In between the BBQ, home improvements, and cold beer this Memorial Day weekend, take a minute to help out!

We’ll be planting and pruning, join your local park for ONE HOUR! Use the park?  Help us clean it!

This task force meeting is for those that volunteered at the community workshop on 1.21.09.
